Monarch

Lots of people paint butterflies, but there is no butterfly quite like this butterfly, my butterfly. A friend of mine familiar with the dark undercurrents running through much of my previous, old-life writing and artwork joked that it looks like a very angry butterfly. Needless to say, I wasn’t after angry; I was after beautiful.
